Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa is expected to meet all Muslim political party leaders today to discuss the Dambulla Mosque issue.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The meeting is aimed at arriving at a decision regarding the Mosque controversy.The President, informed sources said, will thereafter meet groups and parties that propose to demolish the Mosque.Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) took a firm decision Saturday (29), the Mosque should not be allowed to be shifted elsewhere.SLMC General Secretary Hasan Ali told Ceylon Today yesterday the Congress decision is final and it will have no bearing on the meeting the President hopes to have today with Muslim party leaders.“Our decision is final. Even if we participate in this meeting we will not change our stance and even if the other Muslim parties take a different decision, ours will not change,” he explained./129
